The qualified applicant will support the Integrated Air Defense Battle Control System (IBCS) Team in the systems development, deployment and sustainment life cycle performing Risk Management Framework security activities as it pertains to the program hardware (HW), software (SW) and Customized OS and Network Infrastructure to include a large AGILE SW development and Labs environment. The candidate selected is preferred to have HW Design and Architectural experience, RHEL systems experience and CISCO device knowledge on tactical systems. Experience in Program Protection using Anti-Tamper guidelines is a plus. Will be expected to work with the IBCS Cyber team performing cybersecurity related tasks including, but not limited to; cyber interface with our customer's (IFMC) ISSO, identification of applicable HW and SW cybersecurity requirements, providing guidance to products to meet those requirements and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Will be expected to provide an accurate technical evaluation of the system, network, and/or software application, documenting the security posture, capabilities and vulnerabilities IAW NIST controls and recommending new or updated security measures and countermeasures based on risk analysis, then verifying the security postures are implemented as stated. The position will work in conjunction with the IBCS Cyber Lead to establish a schedule that will garner an Authority to Operate and assist the team in all activities necessary to achieve the ATO. Position will assist with development of necessary documentation to support the baseline, STIG Checklists, POA&Ms, and participate in technical interchange meetings and participate in formal presentations to program leadership. The Cyber Systems Engineer will assist in generation and assessment of cyber designs and the validation of cyber requirements implemented and provide direct technical interaction with program teams. Day to day duties include analysis of systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Cisco and radio equipment, analysis of the integration of GOTS/COTS products with IAMD IBCS systems, identifying residual risk and helping to maintain the cybersecurity posture of the system and formulating innovative solutions to cyber problems as they arise. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD; 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a college degree will be considered. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Current Security certification (e.g. Security+ or CISSP) • Strong problem solving skills • Current Secret security clearance required

Preferred Qualifications: • System Administration knowledge / experience with the following: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows 2019 • Experience operating within a DevSecOps and Continuous Deliver/Continuous Integration culture • Knowledge of an AGILE development environment and culture • Cyber knowledge of Cisco networks, specifically Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices utilizing static and dynamic routing as well as virtual Interfaces • Experience with Atlassian tools, Confluence and JIRA • Knowledge of infrastructure as code, preferably utilizing Ansible, Docker, and Jenkins • Experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment Compliance with the experience, training, and certification requirements IAW DoD 8570.01 IAT level II or IAM level III Familiar with and experienced in incorporating DoD STIG requirements, RMF, IAVMs Familiar with and experienced in executing Cybersecurity assessment tools (ACAS, Nessus, SCC, STIG Viewer) Candidates must also comply with the experience, training, and certification requirements IAW DoD 8570.01 IAT level II or IAM level III.
