Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Liaison with Customers and suppliers to ensure quality expectations are clearly defined and implemented.

Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation including revision to the QA Lab manual describing these activities.

Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of Inspection Measuring and Test Equipment (IMTE) and analytical related equipment and facilities.

Maintains customer required documentation related to APQP and PPAP activities on all new projects.

Ensure Quality System is maintained, and plant(s) adhere to customer requirements.

Review and approve supplier PPAP.

Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.

Review customer websites daily for updates.

Controls document and data requirements under the TS16949 management system.

Submit countermeasure responses to customer.

Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.

Compiles and writes training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.

Participate in root cause analysis and verify effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.

Support Production Coordinator to maintain and update PFC, PFMEAs, MQCs and PQCTs.

Responsible for maintaining TS-16949 regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:

Must possess a HS/GED diploma, with the ability to read, write and communicate in English to comprehend and follow written procedures

Two- or Four-year college degree, 3-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working knowledge of ISO/TS 16949

Must be able to read and clearly understand part drawings

Strong Excel skills
