Cashier/ Server / Food Runner Job Description, Duties and Jobs
Formal Title: Guest Experience Coordinator
Note: This job requires participation in our social media campaigns. An A-type, outgoing person who sincerely enjoys talking to and meeting new people is best suited for this position.
Greet customers entering restaurant
Maintain a helpful and friendly attitude during all interactions with customers
Achieve menu mastery to be prepared to answer all customer questions
Receive payment by cash, credit card
Accept coupons and process valid discounts as needed
Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
Resolve customer complaints by consulting with a manager
Make milkshakes as needed
Run food to customers and check in on customers 3 minutes after dropping off food.
Answer telephone and take customer orders providing excellent customer service
Refill any FOH items as needed
Answer customers' questions, and provide any help or information they request
FOH team members leave with tips daily from precious shift. Our Cashiers and food runners average more than $14 an hour with tips.
FOH team members also receive 50% off meals on shift days.

Skills
Experience as a Food Expeditor or similar entry-level role in a restaurant
Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
Multi-tasking abilities
Good oral communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
Degree in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
