Other Boeing sites includeHuntsville, AL,Mesa, AZ, El Segundo, CA, Long Beach, CA, Englewood, CO, Denver, CO, Kennedy Space Center, FL, Miami, FL, Chicago, IL, Saint Louis, MO, Oklahoma City, OK, Ridley Park, PA, Plano, TX, San Antonio, TX, Salt Lake City, UT, Arlington, VA, Auburn, WA, Everett, WA, Renton, WA, and Seattle, WA.In this role, you will be leading as a comprehensive equity, diversity and inclusion strategist and implementer for your local/regional stakeholders, and also guide and execute enterprise-wide process change initiatives that integrate Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) into Boeing'stalent managementprocesses, culture, and accountability approaches.Position Responsibilities:Apply extensive ED&I technical expertise to give reliable guidance and high-value insight that align to GEDI initiatives/programs/resources and thatenable the attraction, development, retention, engagement,and advancement of a globally, diverse workforce and the creation and sustainment of inclusive workplaces.Operate with a high degree of independence and interdependence with colleagues across levels enterprise-wide.Collaborate to create and implement ED&I strategies that are measurable, executable, scalable, relevant and globally applicable to the businessBuild relationships with key stakeholders and address ED&I gaps and opportunities.Ensure strategies reflect integration points with stakeholdersInterpret D&I metrics (e.g., Affirmative Action (AA) data, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) data, talent trends, culture indicators, etc.) to provide consulting insight and hands-on implementation support to stakeholders; assist in the creation of measurement approaches.Research, develop, and deploy advanced ED&I best practices, techniques,or standards that reflect industry leading ED&I trends.Navigate external political and social complexities impacting work environment, leveraging ingenuity, innovation and creativity to provide solutions to high-stakes problems of unusual complexity; represent Boeing externally as required.In addition to D&I expertise, demonstrate and apply functional familiarity with one or more of the following HR disciplines to drive effectiveintegration of D&I outcomes with collaboration across HR: talent acquisition, talent management, talent development, succession planning, learning & development, leadership development, compensation & benefits, organization effectiveness, culture change management, performance management, ethics & business conduct.Utilize wide-ranging ED&I subject matter expertise, advanced business acumen, and superb political savvy to lead collaboratively at all levels and across all functions.Partner within HR and business leadership to develop and deploy learning tools and support resources/approaches that build ED&I capabilities and help diverse talent advance in readiness for higher-level roles.Represent Boeing through engagement with external community partners and stakeholders.Employer not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa statusRequired Skills/Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in roles directly related to equity, diversity & inclusion.Minimum 3 years of experience in partnering collaboratively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, business leaders, HR business partners, HR functional specialists, and employees to accomplish complex, systemic change across organizational boundaries.Minimum 3 years of experience working effectively with globally dispersed peers, managers, and other colleagues in a virtual environment.Minimum 3 years of experience creating effective executive-level written materials and in communicating effectively with people at all levels of an organization.Data literacy skills with sufficient experiences to interpret ED&I metrics with insight and to assist in the creation of measurement approaches.Demonstrated ability to address unique experiences of Black and African-American employees and to partner with Black and African-American community organizations.Preferred Skills/Experience:Master’s degree or international equivalent in any discipline.Background or education in racial or ethnicity studies, cultural awareness, or related field.Industry credential related to ED&I.Minimum 10 years of experience in roles directly related to equity, diversity & inclusion.Minimum 5 years of experience creating effective executive-level written materials and in communicating effectively with people at all levels of an organization.Experience in a Human Resources discipline neighboring ED&I, such as HR business partner, talent acquisition, talent management, talent development, succession planning, learning & development, leadership development, compensation & benefits, organization effectiveness, culture change management, performance management, or ethics & business conduct.Experience with ED&I in the context of a U.S. government contractor relationship subject to OFCCP oversight.Professional experiences in both office and manufacturing workplace environments.Familiarity with social and cultural features of the role's geographic location/region/state.Experience executing ED&I strategies across a multi-skilled workforce in both office and manufacturing environments.Demonstrated qualities of sound judgment, learning agility, organizational savvy, initiative-taking, ability to navigate ambiguity, and effectively balancing solution-building creativity with attention to maintaining alignment with stakeholders and strategic principles in a complex enterprise.A self-starter with critical thinking and ability to act with discretion.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.Place of Work and COVID-19:The position based out of the North Charleston, SC requires on-site presence approximately 3 days per week, with the remainder eligible for either on-site or telecommute work. The on-site expectation for the North Charleston role begins immediately.
