Overviewi3 is seeking an Install & Test Planner to join our team.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will lead planning and documentation for a large-scale wind tunnel installation, integration, activation and checkout activities. Specific task responsibilities include:
Define order of installation of large wind tunnel subsystems – consider current IMS date for receipt and logic based on access, services, test needs, controls, etc.
Define order of testing of each installed IPT subsystem and for IOC testing.
Define which services must be installed and verified to support item 2.
Define which control logic must be developed and verified to support item 2.
Define external base services that must be in place to support items 1 and 2.
Define farm contract schedule need dates to support item 1.
Based on items 1 & 2, determine development order for installation, subsystem test and IOC Ops and Maintenance procedures.
Based on item 7, develop training package development and training schedule to support items 1 and 2.
Create a MS Project schedule for all of the above.
Identify key points in l IMS that drive item 9 and include links to keep the two schedules synchronized.
QualificationsRequired skills
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
Senior Engineer with 15+ years, experience in aerospace design, test planning, resource planning and test execution.
Experience with test planning.
Experience with definition of test procedures.
Experience with execution of tests with external customers.
Experience with design and assembly of aerospace hardware and systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel.
Experience with resource planning and task definition.
Successful management of team members across multiple work sites.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills
Program Management and Operations.
Systems Engineering experience.
