- The candidate will develop and implement computer models and algorithms in support of an all-digital six-dof missile simulation development. Simulations will cover several flight regimes including: subsonic, supersonic and hypersonic.- The candidate will utilize these models and algorithms within the six-dof architecture to conduct performance analyses.- The candidate will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) who will assist in the development of the new models/simulation.- The candidate will assist in the overall design of the vehicle along with the control system.- The candidate must be able to work within a fast-paced environment, often with evolving requirements.- The candidate will write technical documentation as required. Education: - BS or MS degree in Aerospace Engineering. Job Qualifications: - 10+ years of relevant experience.- Knowledge skills include: Familiarity with Missile Aerodynamics, Familiarity with Guidance and Control concepts is a plus.- Competence in: C, python is desired. SU2 (or equivalent CFD solver package) is a plus.- Experience in DoD six-dof modeling and simulation development.- Good communication skills and ability to present analysis findings.- Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
