Location: Huntsville, AL Description: Our client is currently seeking an Integration Engineering Technician I for a 6+ month contract in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:- Reviewing, editing, and following test procedures and processes.
- Operation of test facility and ground support equipment.
- Working with engineers on design concepts and facility improvements.
- Planning and executing assembly for complex mechanical systems.
- Safely working with hazardous chemicals and high pressure systems.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to promote workplace safety.
- 0-3 years in rocket engine or jet engine testing, or rocket engine test facility support.
- Ability to work with test and flight safety critical hardware.
- Ability to work with standard mechanical tools and shop fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.; work in adverse weather conditions; climb stairs and ladders
- Knowledgeable of wiring termination for primarily low voltage and instrumentation applications.
- Knowledgeable of various industry crimpers, wire cutters, insertion tools, terminals, terminal blocks.
- JStandard/IPC certification in wire harness build and soldering.
