- Compare and implement state of the art methods in NGS (e.g., WGS, WES, WTS, etc.) pipelines
- Develop algorithms with technology development teams to transform cutting-edge science into novel software applications
- Analyze sequencing data and work with our scientists to answer specific biological questions
- Provide technical guidance and customer support in the design and analysis of experiments in R&D
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts detailing key methodologies and results
- Troubleshoot and maintain bioinformatics pipelines.
- PhD degree with 2+ years (or MS degree with 5+ years) of working experience in the industry in the field of systems biology, bioinformatics, computational biology, or equivalent
- Solid computational skills and a deep understanding of NGS data and its analysis
- Extensive experience in NGS, systems biology and analysis of large-scale OMICS datasets
- R or Python
- Prior experience working on a scalable, high-volume, web-based application
