Job Details
  • Compare and implement state of the art methods in NGS (e.g., WGS, WES, WTS, etc.) pipelines
  • Develop algorithms with technology development teams to transform cutting-edge science into novel software applications
  • Analyze sequencing data and work with our scientists to answer specific biological questions
  • Provide technical guidance and customer support in the design and analysis of experiments in R&D
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts detailing key methodologies and results
  • Troubleshoot and maintain bioinformatics pipelines.
You should know the following:

  • PhD degree with 2+ years (or MS degree with 5+ years) of working experience in the industry in the field of systems biology, bioinformatics, computational biology, or equivalent
  • Solid computational skills and a deep understanding of NGS data and its analysis
  • Extensive experience in NGS, systems biology and analysis of large-scale OMICS datasets
  • R or Python
  • Prior experience working on a scalable, high-volume, web-based application
  • Atlassian JIRA

  • Biology and bioinformatics
  • Amazon Web Services
