Ambassador is seeking a Material Handler to work in the Enterprise AL. This is a great opportunity with a growing company.
Candidates must be able to work Monday thru Thursday 6:00 AM until 4:30 PM with some overtime will be required.
Job Duties:
-This position involves pushing and pulling mats on a track.
-Remove aluminum mats from line and stack mats
-Two people are involved (75 to 80 pounds) in the continuously lifting during the approximately 5 hours of the 10-hour shift.
-Pack the landing mats into a shippable pallet.
-Moderate continuous lifting of 75 to 80 pounds will be involved during the 10-hour work day.
-Installing aluminum inserts into the hollow cavities of the loading mat as the material travels thru the production line. This is a two-person work station.
-Check materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards
-Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
-Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
Job Requirements/Skills:
-Ability to work in a safe manner
-Ability to recognize size/grade/quality of material
-Demonstrated ability to follow specific instructions and directions
-Position will require bending, twisting, and standing,
-Must be able to work in extreme temperatures
-The wearing of safety toe footwear required. (employee must provide)
-Safety goggles, gloves, and back-brace (provided by client)
-High school graduation or GED is preferred.
