Local contractor seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Grounds Maintenance Laborer.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Mowing, weeding, tree trimming, hedge pruning, edging, blowing, etc.
Operate vehicles and various equipment as required.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Mandatory
Two years ground maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of heavy equipment capabilities and operations.
Required to pass a Federal Background Investigation.
Possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident.
Preferred
Technical experience and/or training in small engine repair.
Possess basic mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge with regards to small gasoline and diesel engines and various landscaping and grounds keeping power equipment.
