Dock Worker

We are seeking a 1st shift Dock Worker for the Dothan Area!

As a Dock worker, you will be filling orders, counting, loading, and uploading product onto incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule.

Job Duties:

· Packs out orders. Counts and unloads products from incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule.

· Ensures that product received is recorded correctly

· Packs out to appropriate distribution area to ensure that all Independent Distributor orders are filled properly

· Check, verify, and sign load adjustments from Independent Distributors

· Record any load shortages on the shipper checklist

Essential job functions/requirements for our Dock Worker

· Retrieving and moving materials to prepare for shipment

· Loading and unloading product from trucks

· Stacking, organizing, and wrapping pallets

· Unpack, verify and record incoming merchandise or material

· Must be able to lift between 20-50lbs

· Ability to routinely stoop, bend, and lift product containers

· Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision

· Ability to perform basic mathematical computations

· Ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job

· Must have a HS diploma and/or equivalency

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Maintain a clean production area

· Must be able to work in cold environment-temperature averages 40 degrees
