Job Description

The Finance Coordinator will work directly with the Asset Manager and the rest of the Asset Management team to support the LIV acquisition portfolio. The daily job varies with monthly reporting, reviewing financials, capital calls, and distributions. The Finance Coordinator will be involved with various aspects of asset management, including cash management, accounting, reporting, and other activities to support the team. This individual will need to be highly detail and process oriented but also must be capable of managing unexpected issues that demand immediate attention.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide monthly and quarterly property and portfolio level reports
  • Assist with reviewing capital calls and distributions, as well as partner capital statements
  • Preparing service deliverables and establishing and maintaining a calendar of client reporting requirements
  • Assist in coordination of monthly and quarterly investor distributions and reporting
  • Help Asset Manager prepare for regularly scheduled calls with management partners to review asset performance
  • Assist in preparation of annual ownership entity tax filings
  • Occasionally perform on-site property inspections
  • Coordinate bi-monthly construction invoice payments
  • Tracking property performance statistics, interacting with property management companies, reviewing monthly performance of properties
  • Work with controller to assist in cash management directives
  • Light travel required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
  • 1-3+ years of experience in detail-oriented position
  • Accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with multi-family property accounting a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, analytical skills
  • Comfortable being organized with a variety of ongoing tasks
  • Approach work with humility and a willingness/desire to learn
  • Strong hands-on knowledge and abilities in Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
