At AL Spine and Rehab, LLC. we are a comprehensive provider of physical medicine and therapy devices that we sell to assist our clients to overcome injury, illness and help them to heal.
We are a fast growing company that is currently seeking a talented, experienced, team member to handle patient insurance verification, confirming needed coverage criteria, obtaining clinical documentation, and front desk assistance.
The Coordinator will work with our field sales reps and other staff to develop an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Verifying patient insurance coverage for specialized braces, orthotics and other DME products.
Collaborating with our sales reps, physical therapists, physicians and other allied health professionals to report coverage and obtain needed documentation.
Utilizing BrightTree to initiate health insurance claims and authorizations for our products
Stay abreast of market changes in DME coding and billing, research payers requirements
Assist with front desk activities i.e. answer phones, scheduling appointments, and collecting copayments/deductibles
Requirements:
Excellent Customer Service attitude
Self-starter
2+ years previous DME, Orthotic, Bracing eligibility or billing experience
Ability to multi-task
Portray a professional image
Other responsibilities as requested
