Consolidated Facility Services is seeking an enthusiastic and trainable Project/Contract Manager to oversee janitorial services at Birmingham Airport. This role is ideal for individuals with 1-4 years of experience who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in supervising staff, ensuring quality service, and fostering positive client relationships.
Major Duties (Essential Functions):
Assist the Operations Manager with daily operations, including maintaining customer satisfaction, adhering to company policies, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality services.
Establish and maintain open lines of communication with clients and the Operations Manager.
Conduct building inspections to ensure compliance with service standards.
Train employees on the proper use of supplies and cleaning equipment.
Operate and demonstrate the use of cleaning machinery and equipment as needed.
Recruit, hire, and onboard janitorial staff.
Enforce company guidelines for employee discipline and termination procedures.
Maintain working knowledge of budgets and contract specifications for the account.
Participate in training management trainees.
Conduct weekly inspections and review facility operations, including safety records.
Minor:
Maintain employee files with all necessary documentation.
Order and manage supplies monthly.
Process payroll and manage labor distribution records.
Submit monthly customer quality control reports.
Schedule project work and manage equipment maintenance.
Handle assignments as directed by the Operations Manager.
