Description We are on the search for a diligent Accounting Manager to be a part of our team. Based in Auburn, Washington, this role focuses on managing and overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax and reporting requirements. The Accounting Manager will also be in charge of maintaining accurate financial records and implementing a comprehensive set of controls. Excellent for that Senior Accountant looking to take the next step!Responsibilities: Lead the daily operations of the accounting and finance department, including cash management, invoicing, accounts payable, and payroll Implement and maintain an effective system for accounting records Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax and reporting requirements Coordinate and manage the preparation of monthly reporting packages Oversee the preparation of journal entries Maintain and manage the accounting software systems Take charge of debt service payments coordination with external banks and agencies, and monitor debt covenants Act as the primary contact for company financial matters with external relationships such as accounting firms, credit card companies, collection agencies, IT companies, etc. Handle all external audits and reviews, providing necessary information to external accountants and other auditors Develop and manage accounting staff through recruitment, selection, orientation, and training Manage accounting staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, when applicable. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000.
