QA Test Analyst
Job DescriptionJob Description: The Quality Assurance Testing Analyst supports the application development organization by conducting complex software testing activities with moderate impact aimed to improve the functionality of applications systems across the organization. Primary ResponsibilitiesCreates comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test case scenarios under occasional guidance of senior analysts for new and existing productsPerforms manual testing of applicationsAnalyzes test data to determine pain points and recommend improvements or modifications to better meet customer needsMaintains documentation for testing activities and casesCollaborates with teams to identify process improvement strategies and develop effective testing solutionsCreates and maintains quality metricsCollaborates with peers to create parameters and comparison data for improved accuracyPerforms post-production validationAssists with coordinating non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, concert testing, and pen testingRemains abreast of trends in testing tools and strategiesMay assist management in determining technical knowledge pain points and developing training plansAssists with complex testing projectsMay offer advice and guidance to junior analysts, assisting in developing business/technical knowledge, analytical skills, and case management skills RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of quality experienceOr Bachelor's degree in related field and four (4) years of quality experience PreferencesFamiliarity with Regions' testing standardsStrong knowledge of software implementation methodologiesStrong knowledge of test case design and strategyStrong knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)Knowledge of Mobile Application Testing (Strong Mobile App testing Preferred) Skills and CompetenciesAbility to collaborate with other team members and teamsAbility to research, analyze data, and derive data-driven solutionsStrong priority management skillsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivation THIRD PARTY AGENCIES, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND RECRUITERS NEED NOT APPLY.
