R&M Inventory CoordinatorYellowstone National Park Lodges is now hiring for an R&M Inventory Coordinator/FT!The R&M Inventory Coordinator is a full-time, year-round position located Yellowstone National Park. This position Reports directly to R&M Purchasing Agent. The R&M Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an accurate and organized inventory item system in the Gardiner R&M Warehouse as well as coordination of all location maintenance storeroom reorders in CMMS system. Maintains an accurate and organized inventory item system in the Gardiner R&M Warehouse.
Runs all location maintenance storeroom reorders in CMMS system; accurately and efficiently picks items and prepares for shipment.
Physically receives all R&M orders from vendors; verifies accuracy of receipts and stocks in appropriate R&M Warehouse bins or prepares for shipment to location storerooms.
Completes purchase order receipts in the CMMS system.
Assists with quickly resolving all issues created by back orders, incorrect shipments, substitutions, and freight or damage problems.
Assists with receiving and unloading delivery trucks in the absence of Warehouse personnel.
Performs the annual physical inventory count of the R&M Warehouse.
Maintains a spirit of cooperation within the department and throughout the Company.
Responsible for adhering to Xanterra’s Ecologix program.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Must have extensive knowledge of engineering and maintenance-type materials and the suppliers for these materials.
Must possess good communication, organization, computer and general accounting skills.
Must have a basic knowledge of facility maintenance and construction procedures.
Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack and forklift.
Must have the knowledge to comply with all current safety and health requirements.
Must be able to read, understand and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Must be at least 21 years old and possess a current, valid, driver’s license with a good driving record for the past 3 years.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
Must possess the physical stamina to withstand heavy, labor-related work in an outside environment, including standing, bending, kneeling, and crawling for extended periods of time when required.
Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
AUTHORITIES:
Performs R&M Purchasing Agent duties upon his/her absence
Accountable for materials and equipment used.
Able to suspend work in order to prevent the occurrence of unsafe work practices and situations and/or negative environmental impact practices.
Promote Xanterra sustainability initiatives by preventing any negative impacts to the environment and incorporating best management practices.
