We are seeking a hands-on, high energy hotel General Manager for our property in Sheridan, WY. In this key leadership role, you will have the opportunity to drive great business results by utilizing your excellent business skills, being an active member of the local community and delivering great guest service!

Job Summary:

The General Manager oversees all hotel business including operations, service delivery, yield management, and financial results. The GM provides hands-on leadership in facilitating guest experiences that exceed expectations, while revenue is maximized, and expenses are effectively controlled.

  • Establish daily priorities, directs operations and ensure all guest services run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Lead all key property issues including capital projects, maintenance, improvements, etc.
  • Resolve guest complaints and oversee subsequent service recovery.
  • Responsible for the preparation and subsequent achievement of the hotel operating budget by managing on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met.
  • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management.
  • Identify operational performance, productivity, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • ‪Previous experience as a hotel GM required.
  • Strong knowledge of the Sheridan hotel market preferred.
  • ‪Must be highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
  • Exceptional guest service and guest recovery skills required.
  • Must possess strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • ‪Must be a positive leader with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • ‪Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and communicate with diplomacy and tact.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
