The Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Wyoming seeks applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track position in Accounting, beginning Summer or Fall 2020.

The College of Business

The University of Wyoming College of Business (http://www.uwyo.edu/business/) is AACSB accredited and is located in a state-of-the-art, Leeds-certified building. The College currently offers undergraduate degrees in business administration, marketing, professional sales, management of human resources, accounting, entrepreneurship, economics and finance. The College offers an MBA, Masters degrees in accounting, economics, and finance, and Ph.D. degrees in marketing and economics. It is one of 11 member schools of the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative College Program. The college has recently undertaken several major initiatives including the creation of the Student Success Center, the Center for Professional Selling, and a campus-wide entrepreneurship program. Moreover, it recently completed a new strategic plan with goals to advance world-class research, integrate more experiential learning, engage in more stakeholder outreach, expand global connections, and grow online offerings.

The Department of Accounting and Finance offers bachelor and master degrees in each discipline. The Accounting faculty prides itself on high-quality, student-focused teaching, and several faculty have received College and University teaching awards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have an earned Masters’ degree in accounting or related field from an accredited (AACSB preferred) institution. All candidates must have passed the CPA exam and have work experience with US GAAP, US auditing standards, or US tax law.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred qualifications are (1) a current CPA license, (2) one or more years of teaching experience, (3) experience and/or interest in online teaching.
