Long term community bank is seeking a well-qualified Credit Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing individuals, companies and industries and conducting presentations on findings to lenders and senior management. Functions include: conducting credit investigations and analyzing diverse credit information for loans; analyzing/formalizing documentation of loan transactions and/or credit history of customers; assisting in preparation of credit reports for presentation to lending officers and/or approval committees; performing research/analysis related to projects such as industry studies and management reports.
A qualified candidate will have 1-3 years of related bank credit experience and experience working with complex credits, CRE, C&I credits is preferred. Also, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or related field is preferred. Strong financial analytical skills with sound judgment and decision making abilities; knowledge of personal/business financial statements and tax returns; ability to work under pressure, prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines while working effectively and with flexibility as part of a team; and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products are highly desired skills in this position. Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills, initiative, time management, organizational, and confidentiality skills in all facets of the position.
