Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to read, and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
To work with other team members to resolve problems as they arrive.
Must be able to use measuring instruments; micrometer, calipers, transit, dial indicators, etc.
Align, fit, or assemble component parts and hardware, using hand or power tools.
Operate metalworking machines, such as bench lathe, milling machine, drill press, etc.
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move assemblies or assembled products.
Assemble electrical control panels, complete point-to-point wiring, and install a variety of electronic components to the completion of equipment.
Install and configure all related software for equipment.
Perform machine startup, debugging and tuning.
Become knowledgeable with current controls.
Complete inspections and QC checklist.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform machine installations or retrofits of machinery at customers site, foreign and domestic.
Requirements
The ability to work in a group environment.
Required to be a self-starter, able to work well without close direction.
Must have electro-mechanical experience.
To communicate honestly, openly and effectively (both verbally and in writing) to customers and fellow workers.
Strong computer skills.
Education: Associates Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent
