Our great client in Racine, WI is seeking a Procurement Consultant for a 1 year+ contract! If you're interested, please send your resume to Erin at Associate Manager of 3PM Supplier Operations Executes strategies for assigned suppliers that ensure delivery of business objectives including Customer Service, Cost, Cash, and Quality. Ensures supply reliability for select Contract Manufacturers to support our client's overall customer service targets. Owns and works cross-functionally to deliver on supplier performance measurement and continuous improvement process for 3PM suppliers. Ensures new products projects are implemented in 3PMs on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), leading quarterly reviews with SRM suppliers and driving improvements to supplier performance. Participate in expanding/automating SRM by cleansing data, training suppliers, driving recurrent cross-functional meetings with suppliers and validating the scorecard/metrics 2. Work with the suppliers as well as Planning, Quality, and other internal stakeholders to meet the requirements. 3. Leads and implements root cause analysis and corrective actions as appropriate 4. Proactively assess supplier capacity and initiate improvements with suppliers and stakeholders to increase supply chain reliability 5. Executes/Implements NA 3PM cost savings projects 6. Supports the NPD commercialization process for NA launches or restages 7. Deliver CM scope of New Product and Value Creation project demand across assigned network. 8. Represent Contract Manufacturing in Regional Supply & Operation Planning Process to escalate long term capacity issues Required: • BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or relevant field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field ( Procurement, Contract manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Quality, and/or Logistics) • Strong knowledge of production/process technologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, OEE, TPM etc. Skills: • Proven track record of achieving results in a cross functional environment. • Leadership, sound judgment, and solid technical problem solving skills are essential. • Dealing with Ambiguity • Drive for Results Project Management and/or New Product Commercialization Experience
