Perform all duties pertaining to receiving, shipping, storage, traffic, technical support and logistics relative to products sold by Handle It. Assist the facility in warehousing functions. Provide mechanic and assembly services as required for servicing Handle It's various products.
1) Perform, within approved guidelines and procedures, the duties, functions of receiving, shipping, warehousing and traffic including, but not limited to:
completing all receiving paperwork,
inspecting incoming freight for damage,
completing damage reports,
executing computer printed shipping documents or manual shipping documents including bills of lading, shipping labels, packing lists and other shipping papers as required,
arranging for trucking companies to pick up freight,
completing UPS shipping documents,
packing all shipments to ensure safe delivery without damage,
storing product in a safe and orderly manner,
assembling product as necessary to prepare for shipment,
reconditioning products as necessary to correct malfunction or repair of shipping damage,
packing literature and other sales aids carefully for shipment to customers and sales representatives as needed,
providing backup for other company functions as needed.
experience with fork Lift operation
2) Provide technical and manufacturing service relating to products sold by HII. including but not limited to:
inspecting products manufactured for HII by outside suppliers and reporting on discrepancies between products produced and requirements established for those products
performing repair services and use of hand tools on products needing repair as needed to bring the products up to proper functioning status
performing manufacturing and assembly operations as necessary to provide complete functioning products for sale to customers
3) Engage in training and educational programs relating to the warehousing and technical support functions including attending training seminars to improve accuracy and effectiveness of the receiving, shipping, storage, logistics, technical support and product maintenance functions.
