Can you do color seperations? (West Allis)
I am a new venue in West Allis that will be holding workshops to teach individuals how to screen print, primarily on Tshirts. My business is Studio 74 Gallery. I have been screen printing for nearly 30 yrs and looking to share my experience.
I am looking for someone who has a great deal of knowledge and can teach a small group of students the basics of doing color seperations for tshirts. This is not a design position. The classes will be once a month to start, and will no doubt turn into 2 times a month. This is a good opportunity to get more clients for yourself.
The workshop will be 4 segments teaching the basics of screen printing; separations and understanding vector vs raster graphics will be 1 of the segments. The class will just teach some basic topics and menuvers, not how to be an expert. You may offer your advanced teaching skills to people who want an in-depth understanding of graphic arts at the end of the class for your own purposes.
You must have your own laptop with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Corel Draw. You will be using your computer to teach the class of 4-5 students. The class will be expected to last 2 to 2 1/2 hrs.
The job pays 100.00 per class. If you are interested please send your resume along with a few designs that you have done separations for. We can schedule a time to meet and go over the specifics of the curriculum.
