The Nitty Gritty Restaurant Group is looking for a Kitchen Manager to oversee, supervise and develop all aspects of kitchen operations for our Sun Prairie location. If you like working in an upbeat, fast-paced operation, this could be the job for you! The ideal individual will have extensive experience working on a kitchen line in addition to overseeing all prep cooking and food preparation. Previous experience managing a large-scale operation is preferred.
The Nitty Gritty is a high-volume, dynamic operation with three locations in vibrant Dane County. Having a great history as a successful family business for 49 years, we are an established restaurant with a great reputation. We are a full-service restaurant serving everything from an extensive weekend brunch to a late-night menu, and everything in between!
This position will oversee kitchen direction at our Sun Prairie location.
The Kitchen Manager position for the Nitty Gritty is a salaried position with a benefits package including: paid vacation time and training, co-pays on health and dental insurance (enrollment after 90 days), food plan, and potential for disability and long-term insurance. This position also receives a bonus package structured with a value of up to $6000 annually for performance-related bonuses. Work schedule consists of days, nights and weekends dependent on peak times and events schedule. Salary is negotiable depending on experience, but will range from $40k to $45k plus bonuses and benefits. Previous experience will be heavily considered.
