Altra is hiring for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to add to our Human Resources team! In this role, you will source exceptional candidates to join our Great Place to Work® certified organization. Demonstrate Altra’s culture as you build relationships with active and passive job seekers. Assist managers in fulfilling their hiring needs by understanding the role being filled, researching and posting the position to appropriate sites, analyzing skillsets and qualifications of candidates, building targeted interview guides, and helping bring the new employees onboard successfully. Connect with passive job seekers via social media and other established networking methods to build relationships in preparation for hard-to-fill roles, recognize when outside assistance may be needed in sourcing candidates, and analyze recruitment trends to ensure Altra remains innovative in our efforts to attract the best talent to join our team.
Successful candidates will understand employment law, support diversity and inclusivity in hiring actions, be professional and organized, and have excellent people skills. An Associate’s degree in Human Resources, business, psychology or related field, plus a minimum of three years of related experience is required. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred. Experience using the Ultimate Software recruitment and onboarding portal and monitoring Affirmative Action plan compliance are a plus.
