Brewpub Manager Description
We are searching for a committed, proactive Brewpub Manager who would enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced brewpub. The Brewpub Manager will help our team ensure that our customers are receiving excellent product and service, while upholding company standards to promote and grow the business.
Bar Manager Responsibilities:
Manage the business aspects of the bar including but not limited to: negotiating supplier contracts, tracking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
Hire and train staff to provide excellent service to patrons.
Create effective schedules to ensure that the bar is well staffed during on and off peak hours .
Set and enforce quality and safety controls and standard operating procedures.
Ensure licenses are updated and in line with current legislation.
Set business objectives and goals with our team to maximize customer satisfaction and improve sales
Identify areas that have a need for improvement and make a staged plan to address
Work with diverse personalities of staff and patrons.
Resolve conflict between patrons or staff members to prevent safety or legal issues and eject unruly persons, if needed.
Maintain a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons and staff
Bar Manager Requirements:
High School Diploma.
Restaurant or management experience or more education is generally preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles.
Excellent computer skills.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.
Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
Decisiveness.
Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced environment.
