Pfister Bulk Transport is growing again and in need of another experienced dispatcher/load planner to join our team of 3. Our 50+ company drivers are dispatched out of our home terminal located in New Holstein, WI and travel to 48 states and Canada. Our dispatch team is as essential to our trucking operation as our drivers. We pride ourselves on providing a 100% level of service to each and every customer and driver we have the privilege to serve. Our drivers live around the US. We run local, dedicated, regional and OTR long and short haul.
Our dispatch team's primary daily focus is ongoing load planning and driver utilization. The individual must be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, openly communicate, and contribute creative solutions to coordinate freight movements. The individual must work well in a team environment and MUST have prior experience with OTR trucking load planning/scheduling, dispatching and drivers hours of service. Position is hourly non-exempt office/desk work Monday - Friday days from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with OT after 40 hours and E/O Saturday from 7:00 am to noon. This job is NOT a work from home position. We require attendance in the office.

Primary responsibilities:
Enter loads into the schedule and TMS
Perform daily trailer checks and ensure trailers are assigned to drivers
Load and route plan
Capacity plan to best utilize drivers within DOT hours of service regulations
Plan and dispatch within our drivers and customers preferences
Coordinate, assign, and manage loads
Proactively communicate shipment details to customers, vendors, and our drivers
Use tools such as phones, text, email and many web screens
Desired Skills and Experience:
3+ years of load planning or scheduling experience
Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and able to apply to driver daily workload
Able to multi-task in high volume/high stress situations
Background working in TMS and ELD
Understanding of driver utilization and route planning
Professional demeanor
Experience with hopper bottom and pneumatic tank trailers
Key qualifications include a proven background:
Strong load plan ability
Proficient in Gmail and Google Documents and have accurate data entry skills
Exceptional work ethic, dependable, and adaptable
Excellent customer service phone skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Able to create strong relationships and trust with our drivers and be easy to get along with
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
