Position Title: Welding - TIG
Wage: $22.00 - $28.00/hour
Shift: 1st (10 Hours)
Currently seeking experienced TIG Welders for our growing client in Omro, WI. This 1st shift position will involve mostly pipe TIG welding but also MIG as needed. Most of the projects are custom so you will be welding from blueprints daily. Apply to this direct hire opportunity today!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Weld stainless steel fabrications using TIG and MIG techniques based on blueprints
- Inspect finished product to specified tolerances
Requirements:
- At least one year of stainless steel welding experience
- Advanced welding abilities with at least three years of related experience in TIG
- Good communication, mechanical and mathematical skills
- In-depth knowledge of safety practices and rules associated with working in a weld shop
- Highly developed skills for reading and understanding blueprints/technical drawings
- Able to use measuring instruments and tools
- Able to pass required weld testing
