Field Supervisor (Entry to Mid-Level) - South Central WI

Overview:

This position is open to all levels of experience. All necessary training for position duties will be provided. West Shore Group is looking for an individual to fill this position that is looking for opportunity to excel. West Shore Group is a telecommunications construction company specializing in burying underground service cable/fiber optic for residences and businesses. Since 1992 we have been a growing company serving customers from the Midwest to the East Coast. West Shore Group has maintained a great working partnership with our customers as well as creating a place people want to work at. The vast majority of our 75 employees have been with the company for 3+ years with many working with us for 5-10 years.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License is a MUST

Ability to travel (mostly within the state of WI)

Experience in the Telecommunications industry is a plus, but not required

Self-starter with ability to work under limited supervision with accountability to the Project Manager

Team player who is willing to take ownership of job tasks and pitch in where needed to meet company goals

Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to):

Oversee all quality control aspects

- Checking work done in the field based on quality specifications

- Maintain quality control records

- Meet with Project Manager and/or Crew Foreman to correct quality issues

Maintain materials inventory

- Keep record of all materials

- Order new materials when needed

- Issue materials to crews when necessary

Customer Service - Damage claims

- Investigate damage claims

- Maintain damage claim records

- Communicate with customer, homeowner, crew foreman, and Project manager all damage claims and resolutions.

Site surveys

- Visit constructions sites to verify path, locates, and equipment needed

- Report to Project manager and come up with a plan to meet the job needs

Other tasks as assigned - including positional growth opportunities

Summary:
