- Know, understand, and follow Lock out Tag out procedures
- Bend and run conduit correctly
- Ability to identify and use appropriate electrical tools
- Identify tripped breakers, blown fuses, and able to reset or replace them
- Complete basic wiring and more complex circuits
- Understand electrical drawings and schematics and PLC trouble shooting
- Ask questions to find answers to issues they don't know how to fix
- Prioritize which jobs or tasks should come first
- Understand production needs
- Help identify safety issues
- Maintain a clean work area and tools
- High School Diploma or Equivalency Diploma
- Technical diploma in manufacturing electronics maintenance is desired
- Completed course work in PLC is desired
- Basic mathematical calculation skills
- Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft office and Manager Plus+
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the ability to operate lift equipment (pallet jack or lift truck and battery-controlled lifts)
- Knowledge of AC/DC motor drivers
- Knowledge of DC circuitry and AC single and three phases
- Knowledge of programming logic controllers
