Summary:

The Human Resources Representative will assist the Director of Human Resources with complex and specialized administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operation of the TROY Group, Inc. Human Resources Department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provides clerical support to the Director of Human Resources. Sort and send mail and/or faxes, proofread correspondence, process purchase requisitions and/or place orders.

Maintain integrity and confidentiality of all Human Resources files, records, and documentation.

Perform periodic audits of employee files to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

Collect time cards and enter worked hours into ADP Workforce Now, on a biweekly basis for each employee at all US locations. Distribution of payroll checks in-person or via mail.

Enter, Maintain, and/or process information in the ADP Workforce Now payroll system; including rate or title changes, bonuses or other compensation, paid leave, deductions and withholding, department transfers, and address updates.

Manage job postings, review and process received applications, and schedule interviews for the hiring manager. Answer frequently asked questions from applicants relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. Referring more complex question to the Director of Human Resources. Tracks status of candidates and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.

Attend local job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.

Communicate changes affecting benefits coverage, such as changes in employment status, changes in family status, and changes to dependents and beneficiaries to insurance brokers, carriers, plan administrators, and other applicable vendors and systems.

Conduct or assist with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EE0-1 filings, payroll and accrued time off balance audits, job description reviews, and various compliance audits.

Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, group meetings, recognition events, and various celebrations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data and situations with the uppermost level of professionalism.

Attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Self-motivated with excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft office products.

Knowledge of or ability to learn ADP Workforce Now.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.

Three years of professional office experience required, with at least one year in Human Resources preferred.
