The contractor is required to provide services in a variety of locations (residential shelters, detention, day/community services or a childs home). Additionally, you will have an opportunity to work with consumers who range in age from 8 21 and have some degree of emotional or behavioral problem.
Responsibilities:
- Fill in as assigned for any aide level position in Residential services; duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
- Fill in as assigned for any Detention aide level (security officer I) position; duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
- Fill in as assigned to provide Community Support Services; duties assigned by Coordinator of Community Support Services.
- Direct Care Specialist will provide supportive services for children currently receiving Transitional Living Services; duties assigned by Coordinator of Community Support Services.
- Direct Care Specialist will provide transportation as assigned.
- Document all activities specific to shift or service activity.
- Participate in all treatment planning meetings as assigned.
- Responsible for proactive positive involvement and interaction with clients during their day-to-day programming and identified service activities.
- Responsible for the management and monitoring of clients day-today programming
- Responsible for facilitating and encouraging clients consistent participation in daily routines such as wake-ups, showering, incentives, etc.
- Responsible for performing a variety of service activities such as wake-up, showering, incentives, etc.
- Responsible for performing other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Good documentation and oral communication skills required.
- Previous experience with target population preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certification required.
- Valid Drivers License required.
