Job Description
Home Instead Senior Care Guildford & Woking has a 2 week
(employed) ‘couples’ Live-in placement from the 12th October until the 26th October in West Byfleet, Surrey, which is close to the M25 and local amenities.During the placement, you will have your own double bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the third floor along with the use of a beautiful garden.
The clients house is roughly a ten minute walk from West Byfleet train station. Should you wish to visit Woking town centre by train, the journey is roughly 5-10 minutes.
Live-in dutiescould include, but are not limited to:- Dementia care
- Personal care - washing, bathing, dressing, toileting and changing a catheter bag
- Light housework - laundry, ironing, shopping, hoovering, meal preparation
- Support with overall wellbeing and independence
- Assisting / prompting medication
- Companionship
- Daily exercise
Ideally you will have 1 years’ experience as a live-in carer, drivers with own car (Business cover insurance required) desirable butnot essential, an update service DBS ( DBS application will need to be completed if not.)
What we ask of you:- Excellent level of English - spoken and written
- A minimum of 1-year experience in Live-in care
- Able to start placement on 12thOctober 2020 and remain for 2 weeks
- Drivers with own car (Business cover insurance) desirable butnot essential
