Mechanic
Job Description Summary
We are looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanics to work on a lime mine site in Ripplemead, VA
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Maintenance
Perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on all plant operating equipment/preventative maintenance tasks on the mechanical system
Routine replacement of bearings, idlers, dust collector bags, gearboxes, and drive belts will be required.
Perform shaft alignments using precision tools.
Industrial background
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Must have solid attendance record
Must possess basic computer skills on how to use MS Office products and SAP.
Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as work orders, blue prints, mechanical drawings, safety rules.
Ability to occasionally lift/carry 50 pounds.
