Pace Analytical Services, LLC., a leading environmental laboratory has an immediate opening for a Full Time Laboratory Technician II in our Semivolatile Extractions Department in Beaver, WV.

Summary: Performs routine laboratory work from detailed laboratory procedures and documents results and data. May include basic equipment operation and troubleshooting, sample preparation and analysis, and other duties as assigned.
Work Hours: First shift, Monday through Friday 8 hours a day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
Preparing and analyzing samples in an efficient and organized manner, using approved methods and procedures.
Operating laboratory equipment and performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
Documenting and entering laboratory data into appropriate systems (e.g. LIMS, spreadsheet, notebook, etc.
Assists other laboratory personnel as needed.
Responsible for keeping applicable workspaces clean and safe.
Disposing of samples and chemicals.
Waste handling duties.
Attending company and departmental meetings.
Providing maintenance of stock reagents and lab supplies.
Completing required training activities within required timeframes.
Foster cooperation and teamwork among staff.
Following company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to pass the drug screen.
