Phil Cogar Excavating, LLC, is a family owned full service general contractor, currently looking for driven Heavy Equipment Operators/Laborers who want to grow and excel in the construction industry. We offer a small company atmosphere with the promise of career growth opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Inspects assigned equipment prior to operation on a daily basis and reports any issues to supervisor.
Safely operates assigned equipment, including dozers, graders, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
Follows all safety and security procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Able to work independently and in a timely manner.
Must have good spatial and relational perception.
Able to use basic hand tools.
Able to work in environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, odors, dust, and noise.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs. on an occasional basis.
May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
Move in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas.
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
