The Yakima County Clerk's Office has one opening for an Office Specialist. The Office Specialist position is responsible for providing direct customer service (face to face and by phone) and appropriate assistance in reviewing of all documents submitted for filing to ensure statutory procedures are followed, ensure documents are signed originals, etc. and to attend court sessions to take the Public Minutes as mandated by State & Federal Law. Extensive customer service skills are required.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and three (3) years of general office experience, legal or court related setting; or any combination of experience or training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
