A Yakima Washington based manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer to be a part of our team.
Responsibilities to include:
Utilizing AutoCAD and Solid works to design new systems and upgrade previous designs to new standards
Meeting projected deadlines and commitments; must be goal-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and accountable.
Keep proper and accurate design documentation. Create analyses and job reports as needed.
Communicate effectively with department manager, shop floor personnel, team members and sales professionals.
Assist with technical issues regarding manufacturing, sourcing, and installation
Job Requirements:
A strong desire to learn and be a team player!
1+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Solid works
Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office. Must be able to communicate well verbally and in written format.
Knowledge or experience working with different types of materials, such as carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, plastics, various coatings and uses, and associated grades of materials.
