Selah Medical Center is looking for an innovative, energetic individual to join our dedicated team of professionals. We are offering a long-term position in our front office where your friendly smile will reinforce our commitment to dependable, quality patient care. Our practice has been providing personal, attentive family medical care for over 30 years. As a team member you will have many opportunities to develop special relationships with patients and coworkers, as our employees remain employed by us for many years.
Office hours are Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30. Shifts are 8 hours with variable start times. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
Experience in the healthcare setting is helpful. Experience in the following areas is required:
Answering telephone
Communication
Customer service
Data entry
Filing
Multi-tasking
Problem solving
This position includes the following duties:
Ability to handle fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Ensuring a calm, welcoming environment
Greeting patients
Obtaining insurance and demographic information
Scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner
Collecting balances, deductibles and copayments
Maintenance of hard copy medical records
Duplication of medical records, hard copy and electronic
Daily bank deposits
Maintaining the organization of the office
Providing comfort/support to patients
Excellent customer service skills, flexibility, outstanding communication and attention to detail are musts to be successful in this position. Reliability with impeccable work attendance will make you a valuable asset to our company.
