Fast growing Yakima Business is seeking a Sales/Account Manager to oversee key Sales and Marketing functions to include planning, quota setting, reporting, marketing and recruitment.

Experience: The ideal applicant will have 5+ years of sales management experience in one or more of the following Markets/Processes:

Markets

Agriculture

Construction

Transportation

RV

Military

Processes

Agricultural machinery

Metal Fabrication/Welding

Industrial Coatings

Vehicle Up fitting

General Manufacturing

Value add processes

This candidate will have the ability to understand and interpret drawings from customers both internal and external.

Responsibilities:

He or she will have the proven ability to oversee and or personally develop marketing and presentation materials using sales/marketing software and local talent.

To oversee key sales functions such as customer service / sales management and will be responsible for the overall productivity of assigned teams within the Sales and Marketing departments.

To coordinate and communicate sales strategies within the organization to assure that all relevant departments understand and support the goals set forth by management.

To seek out new opportunities, build on existing books of business, understand corporate capability, and relevant bottlenecks.

To collaborate with CEO / CFO to establish agreed upon profit margins and lead times for each quote to assure a high percentage of closing.

To travel as required.

Communication Skills:

Highly effective communication skills are a must for this position as they are imperative to create clear and meaningful sales reports, customer presentations, pipeline management, and routine performance reports for Senior Management.

Compensation:

Compensation will be a mixture of both base and commission. This will be negotiated based on experience and customer relationships. This is a performance-based company that rewards performance with no caps.
