Part time Property Manager
Compensation: DOE, Potential for on-site housing compensation
Employment type: part-time
We are looking for a part-time Property Manager to work primarily daytime hours with some evening/emergency hours as needed. If you are interested, please submit your application for our review.
What are the primary functions of this role?
Provide exceptional customer service
Coordinate showings and show properties
Be a resource for tenant relations, communication, and adherence to policy on site
Communicate clearly and regularly with owner as required
Collect rent and deposits
Manage delinquency
Willing to learn and follow Federal and State Fair Housing laws
Willing to learn and follow WA State Housing Commission rules and procedures
Willing to learn and follow Tax Credit Procedures
Keep grounds clean and tidy
Ensure safety for tenants in extreme weather conditions
Coordinate apartment turnover and follow apartment turnover checklist
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
All other duties as assigned
What education, skills, and experience are needed in this role?
Comfortable scanning, emailing, and attaching documents for regional office needs
Strong written communication skills required
Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm manner
Ability to maintain confidentiality is critical
Must be organized
Strong record-keeping
Ability to meet deadlines
Must be able to multi-task and be flexible
Maintain a professional appearance
Personal, reliable vehicle required
Valid WA driver's license and automobile insurance required
Must be willing to submit to and pass a background check
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and or move up to 45 pounds
Stand/walk/sit for long periods
Climb stairs
