We are currently seeking a highly motivated, assertive individual to serve as our Property Manager.

The Property Manager is responsible for maintaining effective and harmonious resident relations, leasing, rent collection, enforcing parking rules and community standards, and overseeing unit turns and maintenance. This candidate must be able to work independently and look at obstacles as opportunities and one that acts on achieving resolve; one that provides excellent customer service and strives to make everyone's experience a positive one. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years experience.

The detailed job description is as follows:

Ensure a safe, compliant community for all residents

Understand and comply with Federal Fair Housing law

Understand and comply with OSHA safety standards for all work performed

Accurately clock in and clock out; report all hours worked

Advertise vacancies

Issue applications and process applications; make application decisions depending on company and Fair Housing guidelines

Educate new residents on community rules and regulations

Collect rents and manage rent roll using AppFolio, an online rent management software system

Follow up on late rents: write and serve notices

Ensure a clean, attractive community free of trash and with attractive landscaping

Manage the Community Maintenance Technician (set tasks, oversee performance)

Tax Credit experience a plus
