Work-Force is looking for a full-time Staffing Specialist/Recruiter. This is a full-time position. Applicant must be comfortable with being on-call if needed. Position starts immediately for right candidate.

Job Description

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage high levels of activity and multiple demands. You will be recruiting, screening, evaluating, and interviewing potential candidates for employment opportunities for temporary project positions, temp-to-hire and direct hire positions. You will work closely with our client companies consulting and delivering options to deliver staffing results for their organization.

Applicants should have a good combination of analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving industry landscape. The ideal candidate should be excited about new client acquisition and retention of existing clients. The selected candidate will have proven growth in a similar industry. We're specifically looking for natural leaders who know what it takes to guide a team to success in a new business region. The successful candidate will value teamwork, transparency and accountability above all else.

Job Summary

Your main responsibilities will include:

Assisting applicants with the application process

On-Boarding new hires

Assisting clients with filling their staffing needs.

Recruit using social media, job fairs, advertising, etc.

Ensuring the branch is compliant with local, state and federal labor law requirements.

Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures.

Maintain fruitful relationships with current clients and establish good relationships with new ones.

Manage daily operations, especially client service and finance activities, and make improvements as needed.

Get to the root cause of any issue to solve problems, no matter how complex, and design and implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines.

General knowledge and understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations that impact human resources and employment.

Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Excellent communication and writing skills.

Great leadership skills.

Strong analytical skills.

At least three years of experience in management, finance, sales or a relevant business role.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
