Bavarian Bistro and Bar is seeking a talented, motivated, and positive Bartender to join our already dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of bartending experience in a volume-driven, craft-style setting. Experience and knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, cider, and more is necessary for this role. Experience with inventory, ordering, menu-building, and general bar operations is a plus. Must have fully open weekend and night-time availability as we are busiest during these times. This is a Part- to Full-Time role with an expectation of four to five shifts. Responsibilities
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check guests’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Preparation of mixes and bases
Ordering of bar supplies, spirits, and necessities
Requirements
Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
Excellent knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
Computer literacy and POS familiarity
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Relevant training certificates including MAST permit and Food Handler's Card
