Wear-Tek is a steel foundry and machine facility located in Spokane, WA. We are currently looking for full time, long term employees to work in our foundry. This is a dirty and labor intensive job; however we have an excellent team of knowledgeable and dedicated people pulling towards the common goal of being profitable. LIST OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using a variety of grinders to remove excess material from steel and iron castings
- Making silica sand molds and cores
- Melting and pouring molten steel into molds
- Operating lift trucks, overhead jibs, and cranes
- The entry level employee will have a variety of duties that require the use of heavy lifting, learning to use machines, power tools, and forklifts as needed
- Applicants must be able to listen and communicate well, learn new jobs quickly, and work cooperatively with other members of the team
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be punctual and show up to work every day ready to contribute
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Foundry Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Positive Attitude
SCHEDULE:
- Full time M-F with some Saturdays
- Day, swing, and night shifts available
PAY AND BENEFITS:
- $15.50 per hour to start, frequent raises up to $21.75/HR
- Raises are based on tenure and performance
- Paid holidays

- Monthly profit sharing after 90 days
