New CDA Orthopaedic office is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant. The applicant must possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. The position is responsible for assisting the practitioner with patient care in any way necessary including, but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Rooming patients
Take vital signs, record in electronic medical record
Collect patient history, record in electronic medical record
Assemble supplies needed for the day
Assist Physician with procedures
Refilling prescriptions
Authorizing and scheduling surgeries
Dressing change
Brace fitting
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Medical office experience 1+ years
