Currently we are the leading Pacific Northwest manufacturer and distributor of brick, block, interlocking and permeable concrete pavers, retaining wall systems, pre-packaged mortars and cements, and a full line of natural and manufactured stone. Mutual Materials Company operates in four states, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, in addition to British Columbia, Canada.

POSITION SUMMARY

A successful Regional Branch Manager will be a highly motivated, self-directed and collaborative individual with strong leadership skills to support and drive sales. The Regional Branch Manager is accountable for all branch and warehouse operations and will work with the Regional Operations Manager and Branch Team to provide excellent customer service to our existing retail and contractor customer base. Key responsibilities for this role include coordinating day-to-day branch operations by directly supervising sales, yard operations and administrative functions while providing leadership and management direction to employees. The Branch Manager will lead regular team meetings, including safety meetings, and maintain an inclusive and positive work environment. They will oversee building maintenance processes, record keeping, enforce in-place policies and procedures, and manage the branch and warehouse organization and appearance, to include inventory and inventory cycle counts. The effective Branch Manager will identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement and ensure that the branch and warehouse maintain positive employee and customer relations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Position requires a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.

Previous experience with masonry products, stone and/or construction practices preferred but not required.

Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven collaborator with strong team building and supervisory skills.

Ability to interview, hire, train and develop others for success.

Good understanding of computers and strong mathematical skills are required.

Basic understanding of finance to facilitate managing a branchs annual budget and how it relates to the Companys overall operating plan.

Facilitates compliance to corporate health, safety, and federal/state regulated policies, including completion of all required training, documentation and record keeping.

Ability to multitask is essential; the qualified candidate will be able to prioritize, organize, manage their time appropriately and delegate responsibility.

Regional travel as necessary.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment UA.
