JOB DESCRIPTION: Executive Innkeeper position available at a high end, eclectic lodging villa located only one mile from downtown Sandpoint, Idaho. Mature, executive, personal assistant hospitality manager with keen situational awareness for diversified multi-enterprising business family. Candidate will serve as a life-assistant for our adult family who will be their permanent lodging guests. Candidate Lieutenant will facilitate lodging rentals, run family household, and provide business support/admin assistance to owner/entrepreneurs. Applicant must be accustomed to working and living in the same stride, and be available at the request of owners. In return for loyalty, integrity and honesty, applicant becomes part of a family who benefits by living on an award-winning slice of heaven in a resort town with an established client base of fascinating guests and contacts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Marketing

-Maintain budgets

-Schedule staff

-Coordinating and managing group events and weddings

-Making and managing reservations

-Making and receiving all calls relating to business operations

-Sending and responding to emails

-Greeting guests

-Marketing with social media

-Concept and growth

-Managing housekeepers

-High focus on cleaning

-Job includes cooking occasional meals for family who lives on site and being mindful of their needs.

REQUIREMENTS: Seeking the ultimate service-oriented people-person with management skills who can work flexible hours including weekends and late nights. Position requires a forward thinking, multi-tasking, project monger with ability to know what needs to be done (and either assigning it or doing it), poise to handle conflict resolution (with grace and effectiveness) and simply loves to coordinate and manage people. Mature Hospitality Manager should be confident with social media networking, sending and replying to emails and phone calls, ability to navigate online third party bookings, and website maintenance.

-Self-manager who possesses skills to effectively (often creatively) resolve conflict

-Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) necessary to please the public; we live and breathe customer service

-Ability to work with a flexible schedule, to be highly available

-Extremely organized

-Great writing ability

-Interpersonal skills

-Managerial experience preferred but not mandatory

-Ability to navigate 3rd party booking sites

-Understanding of how to use social media to market

PAYMENT:

Inquire about live-in options. Salary commensurate with experience and whether onsite housing is necessary. Housing, utilities, and stipend of $1,800/month to start or $32k salary to start + bonus pending revenue benchmark goals

HOURS:

Hours and schedule change pending reservations

Typical 40hrs/wk (including some weekend days)

Usual schedule times are 7:30-3:30, 11-7, and 1-9

Requires occasional early mornings (no earlier than 7Am) and late nights (no later than 10:30)

SSTART DATE:

Full-time position will open December 1, 2019. This position will favor an applicant who is willing to commit to part-time work/training for at least one month prior to being accepted into a full-time position. Part-time position will open September 1, 2019.
