Vertical Partners West, is looking for an Accounting I to join our team of professionals. This position will be a full-time, salaried position. We offer a competitive benefit and salary package.
Job Description:
- Assist with the monthly close process
- Cash application processing
- Customer payment and refund issue analysis
- General ledger account reconciliation
- Pricing analysis
- A/P Processing
- A/R Processing
- Sales Tax Filing
- Assist with year-end audit request
Depending on the candidate, other duties may include:
- Payroll processing
- Coordination of HR documentation and benefits
- Processing of new hire and termination paperwork
- Assist with form and process creation.
This position is a great entry level position for a newly degreed accountant, or an experienced bookkeeper looking for a challenge and an opportunity to grow their accounting and finance skills. The candidate needs to be a self-starter, accurate, and dependable. Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills are preferred.
Position reports to the CFO
Salary is DOE
Hours M-F 7:30am to 4:30pm
Location Rathdrum, Idaho
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred
- 2-4 years of accounting, bookkeeping or other related field experience
- Strong computer skills with a high level of Microsoft Excel proficiency required
- Experience with ERP system NetSuite preferred
- Experience processing payroll through ADP
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across the organization
